University of Ilorin, July 2, 2024 – Following rounds of questions from the UCJ UNILORIN panelists during the 2024 Press Night, the two financial secretary aspirants of the student union (SU), Adebayo Victor (Adebayo) and Sangobiyi Ayanfeoluwa Olawale (Ayanfe) have laid claims that the current SU executives do not have an open record of financial misappropriation.

Students’ Union Financial Secretary FARHAN has been sacked
In the Wisdom Okoko-led tenure, Olaakanbi Farhan (Farhan) was sanctioned for misappropriation of funds. While the aspirants give credence to the proper handling of funds in the current administration led by Royal Prince, it should be noted that the current SU executives were only relieved of their suspension recently, yet, details of this are unknown to the vast student community.
